I’ve written my first book. It’s called The Tequila Promise. When the time came to publish the book, with many options for writers, I chose to self-publish. And I’m glad I did. What an experience. The process was amazing. Now, I’m an indie author. Yay!

From blank page to finished manuscript, writing the book was the most thrilling and exciting project I have ever started…and finished. Believe me there were times, many times, I thought I’d never get it done. Start, stop, write, rewrite, put it in a drawer, forget about it, pull it out and start the whole process over again. Then, you realize it’s been years, and you start getting the same question from friends and family. Hey, weren’t you writing a book? Ahh…

Stubbornness, perseverance, and a desire to see how the story turned out pushed me to finish it. And, of course, encouragement from the crazy redhead.

I am a dedicated and ferocious reader. I’d like to acknowledge a few of my favourite writers, many of whom I have drawn inspiration. John Sanford, Michael Connelly, Kathy Reichs, Linwood Barclay, Peter Robinson, Giles Blunt, and the granddaddy of them all, Elmore Leonard.

The book is available for purchase at Amazon, Chapters, Barnes and Noble, and Kobo. If you pick up a copy of The Tequila Promise shoot me an email and tell me what you thought.

Happy reading.
